Business Awards are by registration only. The award is open for Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian origin (PIO) or Indian Expats who are residing on Vancouver Island. They can register their business, corporation, LLC, Partnership firm or proprietorship firm. They can register in multiple categories if they qualify.

Community Awards are by nomination only. The award is open for Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian origin (PIO) or Indian Expats who are residing on Vancouver Island. Only person of Indian origin can nominate someone for a category. A person can be nominated for multiple categories. Only unique nominations will be considered for the award nomination.

Award selection will be done in two stages, online voting, and award committee assessment.

The award registration deadline is 31st March 2024.

Online voting will start from 1st April 2024 and will close on 30th April. People residing only on Vancouver Island can vote and only unique votes will be considered.

Based on the total entries registered, the top 40% entries will be selected as finalists and will be forwarded to the Award Committee for assessment. Voting received will have 70% weightage and Award committee assessment will have 30% weightage. Final selection will be made based on the average number of votes received and the award committee assessment.
